Academic Advising: Advising for undergraduate admission, universal tracking, bachelor’s degree requirements and the university’s general education information is available in the Office of Student Services in G416 Norman Hall.

Students who want to teach at the secondary level should contact the School of Teaching and Learning in 2423 Norman Hall or call 352-273-4215.
College Scholarships: The College of Education awards scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students through an annual scholarship selection process. Eligibility for individual awards is determined by the College of Education based on a student's fall classification.
The Florida Department of Education also provides scholarships and loans for junior and senior education students.
Information about the Florida Minority Teacher Education Scholarship is available in the Office of Recruitment, Retention and Multicultural Affairs in G415 Norman Hall.
Higher Education Act (1998)
The Higher Education Act (U.S. Department of Education) addresses accountability requirements for teacher preparation programs. The act mandates that teacher preparation programs publish annually pertinent program information including but not limited to the following:
- Program accreditation
- Pass rates of graduates on state teacher certification assessments
- Programs that have been designated as low performing by the state
In accordance with this act, information about the state- and NCATE-accredited teacher preparation programs at UF is available online, and in print upon request.
