Art History
College of Fine Arts
Art history is the only minor offered in the School of Art and Art History and is available to all UF students. There are no art studio minors.
Students must first complete Introduction to the Principles and History of Art 1 and 2 (ARH 2050 and ARH 2051, 3 credits each) with grades of C or better, then meet with the art adviser to apply for the minor. Upon approval, students must complete three 3000-/4000-level courses in art history.
Independent studies or internships do not fulfill credits for this minor. At least nine hours of art history courses must be completed at UF.
