Academic AdvisingCLAS students are advised about their major requirements by the department offering the major. Students are encouraged to explore their department's website and meet with a departmental advisor periodically to review their progress. The CLAS Academic Advising Center (AAC) assists CLAS students in understanding college and university degree requirements and regulations. In addition, the AAC helps undecided students identify potential majors. The Office of Health and Legal Professions Advising (OHLPA) provides guidance to students interested in pursuing professional study in health care and law upon completion of the Bachelor's degree. The Learning Services Center (LSC) was created by the AAC in the CLAS to provide students the opportunity to improve their study skills, prepare for various tests (GRE, LSAT, MCAT), and learn more about the various majors and career options available to CLAS students. The LSC is located next to the lobby on the first floor of the AAC. Please visit www.advising.ufl.edu/lsc/ for more information. |
