Academic AdvisingThe University of Florida is committed to quality academic advising for all students. The academic advising mission is to assist students in the attainment of their educational goals. University Responsibilities: The Office of the Provost is responsible for providing students, faculty and other advising staff with accurate information in the catalog, schedule of courses, Integrated Student Information System (ISIS), and other publications. The faculty, administration and staff share a responsibility to provide accurate information and effective advice. The Academic Advising Center (100 AAC) is responsible for acting as an information and referral center to provide faculty advisers and undergraduate students with timely and accurate information. In addition, the AAC provides advice for students interested in post-baccalaureate professional programs such as medicine, dentistry and law. College/School and Department Responsibilities: The dean of each college or school ultimately is responsible for ensuring that academic advice is available and accessible to all students within the college or school. Student Responsibilities: Students are responsible for knowing and fulfilling all university, college and major requirements for graduation. In order to meet that goal, they are responsible for:
