Accelerated Baccalaureate Degree in NursingNursing Home | History & Overview | Policies/Procedures | Degree Requirements | Programs | Organizations
The College of Nursing offers an accelerated course of study for students with a baccalaureate degree in another field to pursue a baccalaureate and master’s degree in nursing. Students meet Graduate School admission criteria on entrance into the baccalaureate component to facilitate direct progression from the baccalaureate to the master’s degree. Courses and course sequencing in this accelerated baccalaureate option parallel the existing baccalaureate curriculum. However, the student with additional academic preparation is expected to master and apply concepts to various populations without content repetition. The accelerated baccalaureate curriculum (ABC) is completed in three and one-half semesters of full-time study. |
