Music Education – Choral/Keyboard Emphasis

To remain ‘on track’ for this major, a student must meet the following critical tracking criteria. The critical tracking courses appear in bold.
Semester 1:
- 2.5 UF GPA required for semesters 1-5
- Complete MUT1121, PSY 2012, MUS 2211, MUS 2241 with a grade of C or better
- Complete 2 hours of (MV_14__) - Performance Principal course work with a grade of C or better
- Complete 2 hours of MVK 3702 with a grade of C or better
- Complete MUS 1010
Semester 2:
- Complete MUT1122, MUS 2221, MUS 2231 and MUS1360 with a grade of C or better
- Complete 2 additional hours of (MV_14__) - Performance Principal course work with a grade of C or better
- Complete2 additional hours of MVK 3702 with a grade of C or better
- Complete an additional MUS 1010
Semester 3:
- Complete MUT2126 and MUE 2040 with a grade of C or better
- Complete 2 hours of (MV_24___ - Performance Principal course work with a grade of C or better
- Complete 1 hour of a MUN Ensemble course at 1000 level with a grade of C or better
- Complete an additional MUS 1010
Semester 4:
- Complete MUT2127 and MVK 2222 with a grade of C or better
- Complete 2 additional hours of (MV_24__) - Performance Principal course work with a grade of C or better
- Complete 1 additional hour of a MUN Ensemble course at 1000 level with a grade of C or better
- Complete an additional MUS1010
- 2000-level Performance Jury
