Recreation, Parks and Tourism -Leisure Services Management

Leisure Services Management concentrates on professional development in the field of recreation administration at the federal, state and local levels. Courses and training focus on the knowledge and skills necessary to administer and manage non-profit entrepreneurial leisure service delivery agencies and businesses.

To remain 'on track' for this major you must meet the following critical tracking criteria. The critical tracking courses appear in bold.

Semester 1:

  • 2.0 UF GPA required for sems 1-5
  • Complete 1 of the 8 critical tracking courses (PSY2012, SYG2000, ECO2013, MAR3023, MAN3025, (ENC2210 or AEE3033C), (EDF3110 or DEP3053), (SPC2600 or AEE3030C)

Semester 2:

  • Complete 2 additional critical tracking courses

Semester 3:

  • Complete 3 additional critical tracking courses
