Landscape Architecture
The Bachelor of Landscape Architecture is an accredited professional degree that qualifies graduates to sit for state licensure. Graduates are well equipped to practice and advance the profession of landscape architecture or to continue in graduate studies.Students from the UF landscape architecture program have won numerous state and national ASLA Awards.

Overview
Students in the major take advantage of nationally and internationally respected faculty, particularly in the final undergraduate independent project. Student work shows strength in ecologically based planning and design, urban issues and conservation-all issues of strategic concern in Florida and elsewhere.
Educational options include an eight-month internship, focused electives for individual specialization, interdisciplinary studios, competitions, funded research at both graduate and undergraduate levels, and interdisciplinary certificates in Historic Preservation, GIS and Wetlands. Studies abroad in landscape architecture include an international service learning exchange summer program in Southeast Asia as well as an optional fall semester at UF's Paris Research Center.
To graduate with this major, students must complete all university, college and major requirements.
