Mass Communication Studies

This minor is open only to non-College of Journalism and Communications majors and consists of a minimum of 15 credits, nine of which must be completed at UF. Applicants must have a 3.0 or greater cumulative grade point average to be approved.

The following courses are required and must be completed with a grade of C or better; S-U grades are not acceptable:

• ADV 3000, PUR 3000, RTV 3000 and RTV 3405.
• Complete either ADV 3501, PUR 3500 or JOU 4004. These courses may not be offered summer term.
• Applicants to the minor must first obtain their college dean’s approval before they seek Journalism and Communications college approval in Weimer Hall, Room 1000.
