Art History
College of Fine Arts
Art history is the only minor offered in the School of Art and Art History and is available to all UF students. There are no art studio minors.
To earn a minor in art history, a student must first complete ARH 2050 and ARH 2051 with a grade of C or better, then meet student must meet with the art adviser to apply for the art history minor. Upon approval, the student must complete three upper-division courses in art history.
Independent studies or internships do not fulfill credits for the minor. At
least nine hours of art history courses must be completed at UF.
