HUM 2210 Western Humanities: Ancient through Renaissance
Credits: 3.
The first course in Western humanities. Study of materials from the Classical, Medieval and Renaissance eras. (H, I) (WR)

HUM 2230 Western Humanities: Eighteenth Century to the Present
Credits: 3.
The second course in Western humanities. Study of materials from 1700 to the present. (H, I) (WR)

IDH 2931 Honors Seminar
Credits: 3; can be repeated for credit with change of topic.
A special topics course restricted to students in the universitywide Honors Program. (WR)

IDH 3931 Interdisciplinary Junior Honors
Credits: 1 to 3; can be repeated for credit with change of topic.
A special topics course restricted to students in the universitywide Honors Program. (WR)

IDH 4715 Professional Development Strategies
Credits: 1; can be repeated up to 3 credits.
This course will help select undergraduate students identify and compete for the most prestigious career-making scholarships by determining the activities and ideas most important and attractive to selection committees.

IDH 4905 Individual Work
Credits: 1 to 3.
Restricted to students in the universitywide Honors Program.

IDH 4917 Undergraduate Research
Credits: 1 to 5; Prereq: permission of the honors program.
Student research under the direction of a faculty member.

IDH 4932 Honors Tutorial
Credits: 1.
Must be taken in conjunction with other university courses at the 3000 and 4000 level. Students must secure permission of instructor of the course to which they wish to add this credit.

IDH 4940 Internship
Credits: 1 to 6; can be repeated for credit.
Experiential learning in a variety of work locations. Permission of program director required. Supervision by a faculty member or delegated authority and a post-internship report are required.

IDS 4945 Washington Center Internship
Credits: 3 to 15††; cannot be repeated.
Students who are accepted by the Washington Center in Washington, DC and obtain permission of the UF liaison participate in an internship for a summer or semester. A variety of settings related to various academic disciplines are available. A post-internship report is required. Must be taken S/U.
