I am continuously impressed with the quality of student experiences in and out of the classroom - whether traveling to India to conduct original research in our University Scholars Program, founding an award-winning organization to support the human rights campaign in Darfur, obtaining an internship at the White House or engaging in research in a faculty lab in the Brain Institute.

The Undergraduate Catalog will provide the tools for you to explore the wide variety of undergraduate majors and minors, as well as to sample the incredible selection of courses we offer. Please acquaint yourself with the academic policies and regulations you will need to know in order to progress smoothly through UF.

The university's Board of Trustees elected educator Dr. J. Bernard Machen as the university’s 11th president. He assumed the position of president in January 2004. Dr. Machen previously served as president of the University of Utah and provost at the University of Michigan.
