Art Education

The curriculum in art education is designed for students who plan to teach art in the public schools. This curriculum, which is offered in cooperation with the College of Education, completes certification for teachers of art in Florida and all other NCATE states.

The speech requirement is met by ARE 4242 and 4243. The reading requirement is met with RED 3312. The introductory education and technology courses are ARE 2045 and ART 4930C. A portfolio review will be required of students prior to admission into junior level studio courses.
