The LL.M. in Comparative Law program is designed exclusively for graduates of foreign law schools who want to enhance their understanding of the American legal system. The one-year program builds on the university’s international studies programs and decades of involvement by College of Law faculty in international legal issues.

The LL.M.C.L. program tailors a course of study to the needs and objectives of each student, with individualized counseling by the director and members of the faculty and staff. The college offers a Certificate of Specialization in International Tax Studies for lawyers who seek an understanding of U.S. tax laws and international transactions.
