Required Occupational Therapy Courses
For applicants with an undergraduate degree in a field other than occupational therapy, postbaccalaureate entry to occupational therapy at the master's level is available through an accelerated program of core OT course work.
The 7-semester program consists of:
The PEM program admits 10-15 students per year. Applicants must meet the criteria for admission to graduate school. They must also demonstrate a commitment to graduate study, complete all prerequisites and meet other program specific admission criteria.
For PEM admissions, courses taken to fulfill prerequisites must have been taken within the last seven years.
No more than three prerequisite courses may be completed by PEM applicants after the February 1 application deadline.
